The Legacy Dance team took part in the HTE Dance Team Training Camp in Dallas. The group received the Most Admired Team award for ethics and dedication.

Co-captains Tia Pettigrew and Lilybeth Dossey made history at the event becoming the first Lorena dancers to be awarded an “HTE Staff Invite” which is a prestigious offer extended to join the HTE teaching staff upon graduation.

Pettigrew and Shelby Hudspeth placed in the top six for Grand Prix Leaps. Both dancers advanced to the Grand Prix Turns Finals, with Hudspeth winning first place overall.

Pettigrew, Hudspeth, and Keira Kutscherousky made the Grand Prix Improv Finals. Pettigrew was named the overall winner

Hudspeth also placed in the top 4 for Grand Prix Extensions.
