Lorena basketball player Avery Jespersen has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at East Texas Baptist University. 

Last season Jespersen was a 2nd Team All-District selection, and received Honorable Mention recognition on the Super Centex Team. Following her sophomore season Jespersen was a 1st Team All-District selection. As a freshman Jespersen was the District 6th Man of the Year.
