Saturday, March 17, Kaci Donaldson competed in the State Powerlifting Meet held at the Extraco Event Center in Waco, TX. Kaci went 8/9 with good lift attempts in the Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift.
She squatted 340, Bench Pressed 200, and Deadlifted 300 pounds. Kaci also increased her overall Total by 35 pounds from the Regional Meet two weeks prior.
Her bench press of 200 pounds was the 4th best in the State in her weight class and set a new Lorena Leopard Bench Press Record.
Kaci, as a Junior, finished 9th out of 16 total lifters in her division from all over the State of Texas.
We are extremely proud of her effort and the way she represented Lorena High School with pride and class, all while setting a new standard for Lorena Powerlifting. This was an exciting day with even more to come as Kaci will be returning next season!

Girls' Regional Results:
Kaci Donaldson medaled placing second and will be going to State Saturday, March 17.
Taylor Kimberling medaled placing third.
Boys' Regional Results:
Hunter Isham medaled placing third and is also 1st Team Academic All-State for the THSPA.
Logan Davison medaled placing third.
Sterling Harris medaled placing fourth.
Jacob Byrd medaled placing fifth.
Darrian Clark medaled placing fifth.
